Canadian Gold Maple Coin

Canadian Gold Maple Coin Leaf (GML) is a gold bullion coin that is issued annually by the Government of Canada. It is produced by the Royal Canadian Mint.

Obverse

Gold Maple Leaf Coin Obverse – On the obverse of the Gold Maple Coin, you will find, as with all Canadian circulated coins, the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II, along with the year and face value. The first issues featured a young image of the Queen; however, this was updated in 1990 to a more mature image of her highness.

Reverse

Canadian Maple Leaf Coin Reverse  – On the reverse side of the Maple Gold Coin is the maple leaf, the national symbol of Canada. This reverse side also bears the word Canada and the purity of the gold content. The Maple Gold Coin was actually the second gold coin to be issued by a government, after the South African Krugerrand.
